The homepage now shows a personalised feed of shoppable products and videos drawn from user activity across Chrome, Search, YouTube and Discover. Personalisation is opt-out.
A new Deals section curates offers and tracks price changes across retailers.
Lilian Rincon, VP of Product for Google Shopping, framed the platform as complementary to physical retail rather than a replacement - equally able to inspire and to deliver. The strategic intent reads as direct competition with Amazon's depth and Pinterest's discovery surface.
